Prospective Collegiate Athletes

Siyana Jones is one of our standout Level 4 Acro & Tumbling athletes. She began her acro journey right here at West Ashley Gymnastics, progressing from AAU Xcel Silver to USAG Xcel Gold before discovering that Acrobatics & Tumbling was her true passion. She currently has: roundoff backhandspring full, round off whip to tuck, round off whip to layout. Siyana currently bases inversions, bases front support, bases one person extensions, as well as toss and pyramid. Siyana currently bases libs, toe pitches, and straddle front supports. Siyana is currently working on front handspring front bounder front tuck, arabians, front tuck step out, round off whip backhandspring layout.

Some of her strengths outside of her excellent physical abilities include her leadership on the team and in the gym, mental toughness and has a positive attitude towards adversity. Alongside her training, Siyana is also a recreational coach at WAG, where she loves mentoring younger gymnasts and A&T developmental athletes; helping them build foundational skills.

In school, Siyana maintains a strong academic record with a 4.117 GPA. She is currently enrolled in all Honors classes. Outside of the gym, she enjoys volunteering for the Palmetto Patriots Classics, a gymnastics meet that raises money towards local veterans. She enjoys playing the guitar and watching movies. Siyana used to sing for her church choir. She is eligible to join honors clubs next year.

Siyana has earned several notable achievements, including the 2024 Xcel Gold Floor State Champion title and qualifying as a 2024 Xcel Gold Regional Competitor.
